Globally, the building sector accounts for one-third of the total energy demand thus the use of PVT systems in buildings is therefore of great importance.

temperature for domestic heating purpose and reduce the heating load by 27%. In addition, building integration of air-based PVT systems is more common than that of water-based systems.

These air-based PVT systems can be divided into two types
